Here’s a shout out to #dontiepalone for creating this “IEP Meeting Workout!” I would be in body-building shape if I followed this for each IEP meeting I’ve attended. But, all joking aside, you aren’t the only parent who has experienced these occurrences during your child’s IEP meeting. Special educators sometimes spend so much time in IEP meetings that they become commonplace. They forget how important this meeting is for you and your child, and how many emotions may run through you during a meeting. That’s why I’m here! I can give you moral support and remind the team that your child is just as important as all the other things they need to be doing. And don’t forget to ask for those PWNs 😉
