There are so many sad memories that come to mind when I think back to September 11, 2001. But, before I let the sadness overwhelm me, I try to think about the stories of beauty and cooperation that also came out of that day. Stories of people who became heroes by helping one another. People who carried strangers with injuries or disabilities down the stairs, people who fought back against the terrorists, and people who ran into the towers to try and get more people out. I hope you can take a moment with me tomorrow to recognize this day and remember the people who lost their lives because of these attacks.
